2016”, que se celebran del 5 al 21 de agosto. Sus Majestades los Reyes,

Un joven ciclista herido menos grave al caerse en un sendero de Tenerife

Servicios intervinientes activados por el CECOES 1-1-2:
- Grupo de Emergencias y Salvamento (GES): un helicóptero de rescate.
- Consorcio de Bomberos de Tenerife.
- Servicio de Urgencias Canario (SUC): una ambulancia medicalizada y otra de soporte vital básico.
- Cuerpo Nacional de Policía.
Observaciones:
- A la hora arriba indicada, el Centro Coordinador de Emergencias y Seguridad (CECOES) 1-1-2 recibía una alerta en la que se informaba que un joven ciclista se había caído en la citada zona y estaba herido.
- El 1-1-2 activó de inmediato los recursos de emergencia necesarios.
- El helicóptero del GES localizó al herido y procedió a su rescate, conjuntamente con Bomberos del Consorcio, previa inmovilización del afectado. Posteriormente fue trasladado en dicha aeronave hasta la helisuperficie del Muelle de Puerto de la Cruz.
- Allí le esperaba el personal sanitario del SUC que tras valorar y asistir al herido lo evacuó en una ambulancia medicalizada al Hospital Universitario de Canarias.
- El Cuerpo Nacional de Policía habilitó la helisuperficie para el aterrizaje del helicóptero del GES.

A North Korean broadcast of numbers on June 24 ended a 16-year
sojourn that is surprising many who thought Pyongyang had given up on
the old spy trick.
The practice was halted in 2000 after the first inter-Korea summit between North Korean President Kim Jong Il and South Korean President Kim Dae Jun.
The 14-minute broadcast of two sets of numbers by a female voice appears to have been the work of the Voice of Korea (formerly Radio Pyongyang), a North Korean radio propaganda station that broadcasts accolades of the Kim family.
A retired US National Security Agency source said the fact it was a 10-11 meter frequency band in the middle of the night, considering that North Korea does not have relay stations like many other shortwave stations, would make the target local to South Korea, Japan or northern China.
“Sun Spot cycle is low to zero right now so would not expect it to be a DX [long distance] transmission," according to the NSA source.
The station is using old Soviet transmitters that give it a distinctive humming sound when broadcasting, said Keith Perron, an expert on spy number stations who runs the international shortwave and FM station, PCJ Radio, which broadcasts news, entertainment and serves as a relay for other content.

The downlink signal will be audible in Europe on 145.800 MHz narrowband FM.
There will be no video from the ISS, but the telebridge station IK1SLD will stream live video of the station to the BATC Multiviewer server. Interested parties can view the ground station operating at:
http://www.batc.tv/iss/
The BATC Multiviewer shows six screen views, one of which will be from the IK1SLD station. You can enlarge it to full screen.

Canary Fly
LAS PERSONAS DE CANARYFLY
Alba Figueroa es una de nuestras sobrecargo y su trabajo le permite decir cada día: “he estado tomando café a primera hora en una isla, he almorzado en otra y finalizo el día en casa”. Ese dinamismo es algo que le encanta y algo que también lleva a su tiempo libre. Cuando puede, hace escapadas en caravana con su marido y su perrita Greta. ¡Siempre en movimiento! :)

Para nosotros es muy difícil informar de esta noticia. La organización
trabajó durante meses para poder traer a Gijón estos impresionantes
pájaros y el no poder hacerlo nos ha causado una tremenda decepción.
Hemos elaborado la parrilla de la mejor forma que supimos y esperamos
que lo que queda de esta no les defraude mañana. Haremos todo lo posible
para que el año próximo puedan ver el A400M sobre nuestra ciudad.
