Robot de Astrum

Abbie Hutty, Spacecraft Structures Engineer and former Graduate, was a guest on BBC Breakfast. Abbie was interviewed by Louise Minchin & Charlie Stayt and accompanied by Bridget, a prototype Rover, that has been built for the ExoMars project which is the first European Mars mission and is due to launch in 2018. Bridget has a suspension system that enables all 6 wheels to remain in contact with the ground at all times and she is also able to climb rocks! Abbie demonstrated Bridget’s capabilities live on TV.

 Abbie Hutty, Estructuras de naves espaciales y ex ingeniero graduado, fue un invitado en BBC Breakfast. Abbie fue entrevistado por Louise Minchin & Charlie Stayt y acompañado por Bridget, un prototipo Rover, que se ha construido para el proyecto ExoMars, que es la primera misión europea a Marte y se debe poner en marcha en 2018. Bridget tiene un sistema de suspensión que permite que todas las ruedas 6 a permanecer en contacto con el suelo en todo momento y que también es capaz de subir rocas! Abbie demostró capacidades de Bridget viven en la televisión.
